The Halewood Paint Shop team has donated £250 from its latest departmental Bingo draw to local Liverpool charity, KIND.
KIND works tirelessly to find new ways to help children and families across Liverpool and Merseyside to cope with the effects of poverty and disadvantage.
The team chose KIND as its designated charity for 2021 and at least 5% from all its bingo winnings this year has been donated to the organisation, which will help to fund the incredible work it does to support families in the region.
Hannah Twigg, who co-ordinates the Paint Shop's Bingo Lottery, said: “Everyone is delighted that we have been able to support KIND with this donation as it’s a charity which resinates a lot with the team here, as many have children themselves.
“This will help to support the work the charity does to help some of the most disadvantaged families in Merseyside so we are glad we can make a difference- especially at Christmas as we know that demand on their services is especially high at this time of year.”
Stephen Yip, Chief Executive of KIND, said: “On behalf of all at KIND, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Hannah and all the Paint Shop team at Jaguar Land Rover for the kind donation of £250 towards this year’s Christmas Appeal. Their support and kindness are both very much appreciated and needed if we are to continue making a real difference at this special time of the year.
“As a small charity, we rely 100% upon the kindness and generosity of our friends such as you. With that support, we can continue making a real difference in thousands of young lives this Christmas.”
