Former Jaguar Land Rover colleague Mark Truman has launched the world’s first fully-electric motorcycle with a Human Machine Interface at the Milan Motorcycle Show.
Now Founder and CEO of Arc, which is invested in by InMotion Ventures – Jaguar Land Rover’s venture capital fund, Mark has unveiled the most advanced electric motorbike on the market to create a new experience on two wheels.
Known as Vector, the bike consists of a cutting edge architecture made up of exotic materials, alongside intelligent haptic rider-wear and a connected head-up display helmet.
Mark said: “Vector isn’t just a motorbike; it’s the world’s first fully-electric café racer, it’s an innovative heads-up display helmet and a sensory riding suit – all working in unison to create an experience like no other.”
The investment from InMotion Ventures, along with Mercia Fund Managers and the Midlands Engine Investment Fund, will support Arc with its global ambition to make Vector the cleanest, safest and most fulfilling motorcycle on the road.
Sebastian Peck, InMotion’s Managing Director, said electric vehicles are pivotal for the future of urban mobility, helping people travel quickly and cleanly as possible.
He added: “With Arc’s technology and vision, the Vector is an incredible development in the next generation of motorcycle travel.”
