Brazilian colleagues battle it out in the first Business Protection Olympic Games
Brazilian colleagues showed their competitive edge in the first Corporate Security and Business Protection Olympic Games at the Itatiaia Plant.
Exhibiting the Olympic values of Excellence, Respect and Friendship, 195 colleagues spread across 39 teams got the chance to experience the physical challenges the firefighters on site face.
Each team was tasked with four physical tasks while wearing fire-fighting gear, and contending with pressurised hoses and fire extinguishers. Before tackling a race around the perimeter of the Brazilian manufacturing facility.
Uri Aronson, Head of CSBP Latin America, said it was heartening to see teams from across the plant come together to take part in the first ever Business Protection Olympic Games, adding:
“We arranged the games to encourage a healthy lifestyle, more participation in sport and teamwork. But we also wanted to increase the awareness about fire prevention and the routine issues and emergency situations that the team faces while providing an effective response.
“We have already started making plans for the 2020 Business Protection Olympic Games.”
