Diesel Assembly's Conrad Westwood is set to take on the 140km challenge of Velothon Wales in aid of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity
Diesel Assembly’s Conrad Westwood is back on his bike and training for his toughest challenge yet the Velathon Wales and he’s doing it all in aid of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC)
Velothon Wales gives cycling enthusiasts the opportunity to experience the thrill of closed road cycling, whilst taking in some of Wales’ most breathtaking scenery.
Conrad is set to take on the longest route, 140km. He’ll be tested to the limit for his latest fundraising activity.
He’s looking to raise as much money as possible for MAAC, so over the next 6 months he’ll be asking colleagues, friends and family to dig deep and donate. You can donate by visiting Conrad fundraising page on the MAAC website. Visit: http://bitly/ConradWestwoodVelothonWales
MAAC receives no Government or National Lottery funding. Each Midlands Air Ambulance mission costs £2,500 and in excess of £9 million is needed each year to keep its three air ambulances operational, which is donated entirely by the public and local businesses, with four in ten of those funded by Gifts in Wills.
If you have been inspired by Conrad, why not sign up to take part in something for MAAC?
