The Jaguar F-TYPE Coupé and Cabriolet were judged to be the most beautiful sports cars of the year this week at the Autonis design awards, held by German car magazine, auto motor und sport.
The F-TYPE Coupé won the sports car category with 26.7 per cent of the magazine's readers' vote, beating the Porsche 911 GT3 and the Mercedes AMG GT-R. The F-TYPE Cabriolet won the convertible category with 32.4 percent, ahead of the Mercedes AMG GT Roadster.
Matthew Beaven, Chief Exterior Designer at Jaguar (pictured holding the trophies, far right), said: "The F-TYPE has been one of the winners in the sports car segment since its launch in 2013 with its attractive design, breathtaking performance and innovative technologies. I am very proud to be able to receive these awards here in Germany."
