Two members of the EMC's Apprentice team have teamed up to inspire Wednesfield High students to consider engineering as a future career
Third year apprentices, Chelsey Hipkiss and Thomas Roberts recently represented the EMC at an event aimed at giving young adults at Wednesfield High the opportunity to find out more about potential career opportunities with Jaguar Land Rover.
Wednesfield High is a specialist engineering academy and one of the EMC’s partner schools. They hold regular careers fairs, supported by a variety of local businesses, aimed at giving students of all ages the chance to speak to potential employers and find out more about careers in different industries.
During the event, the two apprentices were able to speak to students about their own experiences of the apprentice scheme and provide advice and literature to those who may be interest in applying in the future.
