The EMC has opened a brand new learning centre in Mod 4 to encourage lifelong, flexible learning for all.
The official ribbon cutting was done by Jaguar Land Rover HR Director Jon West, alongside EMC Operations Director Trevor Leeks, who were joined by senior managers, associates and suppliers at the event.
During the opening, guests were invited to drop in and try their hand at the virtual reality robotic demonstration and speak to members of the learning and development team about the opportunities for online learning; accessible to all.
Dean Pearson, HR Manager (Capability), said: “This is a brand new concept for Jaguar Land Rover and is the first facility of its kind in a manufacturing environment.
“It provides a multi-use space that is modern, high tech and user friendly and is really fit for the purpose of learning every day.
“In addition to the potential to hold more structured learning events, including ELS courses, there’s plenty of space for team members to use the online learning tools and other resources at their own pace, which makes it suitable for all types of learning.”
