A huge congratulations to Tom Evans, from HR, who has been crowned winner of our Employee of the Month recognition event- which helps us to showcase more of the brilliant work being delivered by our colleagues on and off the shopfloor.
Tom was nominated by his fellow team members for the fantastic role he played in supporting December’s Foodbank Takeover, where our kind-hearted employees donated 3000 items of food as well as well as toiletries, nappies and gifts to Knowsley Food Bank.
After one of the event organisers fell ill, Tom stepped in to ensure that everything was in place to make sure the takeover could still go ahead; he arranged drop off and satellite collection points for donations as well as delivering food to the foodbank himself.
The takeover helped to feed hundreds of families in Merseyside last Christmas- something which all our employees should all feel incredibly proud of, and Tom played a big part in making that happen.
We also want to take this opportunity to wish Tom a fond farewell as he is leaving Halewood this Friday, after six super years, to take on a new role at the Transport for Greater Manchester.
Thank you, Tom and good luck, from everyone at Halewood!
A huge congratulations to our Employee of the Month Runners Up, the Paint Shop Deluge Clean Up team, made up of: David Maxwell; Michael Saunders; Andrew Smith; Anthony McGinn; Stewart Taylor; Lee Holmes; John Yates; Tommy Cain; Rob Harper; John Stansfield; Tony Hughes; Robbie Smith; Tony Burnett and George Bainbridge.
