Danielle Flynn, Higher Apprentice, Halewood, recently visited Abbots Lea which is an outstanding special school providing the highest quality of education for students aged 3-19 living with autism and a range of associated communication, interaction, social, imagination, sensory and learning differences.
Danielle went to support a careers day the school was holding, taking along a Discovery Sport, some games, a mini quiz and fun facts. The kids had a great time and had great passion, really enjoying the experience which was rewarding to see. Engaging children with an Engineering career from such a young age is great, increasing awareness of all potential opportunities for the future.
Danielle told us, “The day made me proud to work for such a premium and global company. Leading the games and activities strengthened my speaking and people skills. It was a fantastic day and I am a grateful for the opportunity”.
Great job Danielle it looks like the kids had a great time.
