GBBO star judges Jaguar Land Rover’s Commercial Charity Christmas Bake Off

Nine teams from across the Commercial function took part in Jaguar Land Rover’s Christmas Bake Off competition at Whitley raising more than £1,600 for charity.
Hosted by the Commercial Change Agent network, the event
helped bring everyone together within the function and strengthen its ‘One
On the day, each participating team created their own
fully-stocked festive buffet, with 2018 Great British Bake Off finalist Ruby
Bhogal judging both individual and overall Bake Off categories.
In a hotly contested competition, the team from Market
Performance was named the overall Bake Off winners, as they took the crowns for
best sausage rolls, International bake and overall buffet selection. The
Revenue and Retention team also won two categories for their sumptuous
chocolate yule log and festive cupcake display, while the Technical Services
team’s Boxing Day quiche and Product Marketing’s Chelsea bun Christmas tree
technical challenge impressed on the day.
The money raised from the Whitley Bake Off was split between
the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Warwickshire Air Ambulance. Alongside
Whitley, the Commercial Teams based at Ryton and at the Leamington Training
Academy also held Charity Bake offs raising even more money for great causes.
Well done to all the bakers who got stuck in and thank you
to all who donated or helped to organise the event.
