As attendance across Jaguar Land Rover in April – June 2021 improved versus the previous Quarter (Jan – March 2021) we now have Halewood MOTORVATE funds available that you can apply for.
To do this, please complete a ‘Donation Request Form’ which are available to collect from your local People Centres, Line Managers, TU Representatives, as well as on the People Portal here.
MOTORVATE is a scheme that reward good attendance where Jaguar Land Rover donates money and vehicles to local community groups. You can apply for a monetary donation, vehicle donation, or both, providing that the charity or organisation operates within our local region.
MOTORVATE can help to make a real difference to local community groups and charities’ but don’t just take our word for it, read Steve’s story. Steve Hindley works in the Tool Room is a coach for Thomas Lane Tigers under 13s football team.
Steve said, “I became a coach when my son Max started playing for the team five years ago.
“Like with all clubs, parents pay subs each month to cover most costs but by the time we have forked out for league fees, referee fees and renting pitches, it leaves us with very little left over to go towards new kits and trophies.
“We are currently in the process of ordering new kits which will be reversible, so we get a home and away top all in one- which is a big cost saving and the kids love them.
“The £250 donation we have recently received from MOTORVATE will cover half of the cost of the tops, so this is a massive help, and we are incredibly grateful for this donation.
Steve added: “It makes me feel proud that my employer can help to support a local team like ours and would recommend other employees to take advantage of this opportunity and get their request forms in whilst there is funding available.”
MOTORVATE funds are currently available as attendance across Jaguar Land Rover in April – June 2021 improved versus the previous Quarter (Jan – March 2021).
For every person in the business who has had 100% attendance in April – June 2021, the company has paid £5 into the MOTORVATE pot, which has generated circa £14,000 for distribution to local Halewood Employee nominated charities and good causes.
