On Wednesday 18 July we’ll be visiting All Saints Catholic High School in Kirkby to deliver a Dragons’ Den design challenge. The Dragons Den challenge is to conduct market research on some of the key competitors of Jaguar Land Rover, and analysis product accessories that they offer to their customers.
With this insight into these competitor products, the students will design and develop a prototype of a new accessory to accompany one of the models made at Halewood.
The 150 students will be split into five rooms, each containing six groups of five. The groups will be mentored by a plant volunteer or a teacher (acting as Group Leader). After the design phase, each group will pitch their ideas to a team of Dragons who will ask questions and gave them an overall rating. Those who scored the highest from each room will then go on to present their product in the Grand Final in front of the entire year group in the school Main Hall.
We are looking for five employees to help facilitate the events and 5 employees to play the role of Group Leader . Group Leader role is to o give guidance and help during the event. You will not be required to take part in the presentation and the lead facilitator in each room will be responsible for informing the teams what they should be doing in line with the schedule.
