Do your weekends involve spending hours in the garage getting grubby with your car or bike? Are you forever tinkering with anything mechanical? Then why not become professionally accredited as an Auto Electrician or Mechanic?
In the Pulse Survey you asked for training and development as well as investment in your growth and this is the perfect opportunity! In response to pulse and in partnership with Manchester College we have developed a Level 2 Diploma Program in Auto Electrical and Mechanical principles.
What will be involved:
Seven weeks training on site
Three weeks training and testing at Manchester College
Portfolio: - Minimum 12 hours per week writing up your portfolio.
Course: Portfolio required to evidence knowledge assessed by external assessor / end of course testing completed on line at Manchester College.
Once Trained you will return to your original process, but you will be in a talent pool hopper which will back fill any auto Electrical or mechanical vacancies which become available.
You can get a copy of the internal application form the people centre.
You must have GCSE Grade C or above to apply (College Requirement)
