During February half-term, the Halewood Education Centre ran two courses aimed at inspiring our young engineers of the future. The courses are a blend of classroom activities and visits to specialist areas of the Halewood plant.
The students who are all from local schools were given an extensive tour of the Halewood production process, and also took part in some of our fun, team-building activities, including the ‘Lean Lego’ exercise which was run by the LLA team.
There was also a chance to meet some of our young apprentices and people from Training, which gave them valuable information about the JLR apprenticeship programme.
The courses went extremely well, which was mostly thanks to the support of everyone from the Halewood factory. All of our young visitors appeared to enjoy the courses and gave us some great feedback!
Thank you to everyone involved for donating your valuable time and thank you to the Halewood EBPC staff for their help in the organisation and running of the courses.
