This past year has seen an incredible effort across Halewood to champion Kaizen and has resulted in a record number of Kaizens raised! Even though Covid 19 slowed us down slightly in recognising your fantastic work and last week our leadership team were able to recognise our July winners!

First:
T&F - Paul Dilsworth, Mark Holian, Stephen Kelly, Bradley Chilvers & John Morley for Line 8 PHEV Trolley
The PHEV process became heavier and needed assistance to be able to complete it within takt. By introducing the trolley it's enabled 145R process to be complete within takt.

BiW Jason Roberts for Spill Kit Recycling Stand:
Spill kit recycling stands are used throughout the plant for various of reasons. When spill kits are used they are discarded but now with quicki thinking from Jason they’re dried, stored and reused which has a whopping saving of £22.00 per use!
Third:
T&PPG Daniel McCulloch for Toolroom Grinding Lighting Area:
Poor lighting made grinding difficult and requiring extra assistance. Daniel made lights from steel and hung them above the working table which made the area much brighter and manoeuvrable.
