A massive congratulations to everyone in Trim & Final and OTA who have contributed to raising a fabulous 2,581 Kaizens since June 2020!
The team have really embraced Kaizen and have unlocked some amazing improvements in productivity, effectiveness, safety, and waste reduction.
The team told us the personal impact of Kaizen for many has been a feeling of engagement, empowerment and ownership, a growth mind-set and a real can-do attitude.
The team are really proud that they can implement Kaizens and share their ideas to help Halewood become a plant of choice for JLR.
Here are just some of the examples of the brilliant kaizens being raised across T&F and OTA:
T1’s Frankie Beattie wanted to make his workstation fit for purpose after a process change, so working alongside the Kaizen team he re-built his rack to suit his new way of working.
Line 9’s Lee Bryant’s work with the 3D printing team showed how we can make savings by using our in-house talent rather than buying in.
Melissa Rimmer’s P80 lubricant sponge idea has been used throughout T&F, saving time, P80 and making the workplace safer by cutting down on spills.
And just this week, Door Line GL Mark Champion shared his kaizen about the shipper re-print app.
Well done everyone - keep up the great work!
