As you know this is the first year that the whole plant will be taking part in the Team Improvement Circle (TIC). TIC is an employee engagement programme, which was first launched within Jaguar Land Rover in 2015, based on the principle of Quality Circles.
TIC is a voluntary programme where small teams of employees utilise basic problem solving tools and techniques to improve a problem in their workplace to the benefit of themselves and the business as a whole. Once their idea is implemented, they then have the opportunity to present their theme at an annual TIC Convention.
At the moment we have an amazing 37 circles taking part in the process. If you know any of your colleagues that are taking part please try and encourage them and help them with their ideas. They may just want a chat or another perspective and you could help them make the difference.
Over the next couple of weeks the TIC groups will be working through the steps of the programme to get ready for the Local Convention in April. Please give them as much support as you can to help them t make it through to the Local Convention. We will share updates about their progress along the way.
A massive well done to everyone taking part, even if you don’t make it through to the Local Convention what you’re working on now could still make a difference.
