Jaguar and Land Rover were out in force during this year’s Coventry MotoFest as thousands turned out to celebrate the city’s motoring heritage.
There was plenty of the latest and greatest vehicles on display and inaction on Coventry’s ring road last weekend. The Jaguar Land Rover Zone was filled with Jaguar and Land Rover’s current vehicle line-up, as well as displays from Jaguar Racing, Classic Works and Special Vehicle Operations.
The Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY, new XE, the F-PACE SVR, new Range Rover Evoque and Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Editon gave the crowds a taste of the latest creations to come out of business. While Jaguar Classic Continuations of the XKSS and D-types gave a glimpse back to the company’s glorious history.
Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust showcased six cars over the weekend with the Group 44 E-type racing car, F-Type Project 7, XKRR concept and XJR Nurburgring race taxi all wowing the crowds on Coventry's Ring Road.
Before lining up alongside a pair of XJSs - the Group A ETCC TWR race car and twin-turbo 4x4 concept - to give visitors the opportunity to explore this small selection of historical vehicles up close.
Land Rover Experience was also in attendance, giving visitors the chance to experience how capable our vehicles actually are, while younger guests could try off-roading for themselves on an electric Defender.
Many thanks go to Castle Bromwich’s Jay Sidhu for his photography over the weekend.
