Jaguar is collaborating with the Institute of Directors (IoD) to host a number of events exploring the best ways for businesses to be more inclusive.
The ‘Open House on the Road for Inclusive Business’ roadshows began in Manchester last week, with a number of executives, entrepreneurs, government and media representatives in attendance.
Hosted by New York attorney and Women’s rights activist, Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu, the first event of the year saw a number of industry leaders give their insight on diversity and inclusivity.
Victoria Gabriel, Jaguar Land Rover UK Marketing Manager, said: “Jaguar has an established partnership with the IoD, which gives us the opportunity to actively engage with SME audiences, showcase our latest range of vehicles, and takes us closer towards delivering our commercial objectives.”
Jennie Moore, Jaguar Land Rover’s Diversity and Inclusion Manager presented on the day to showcase the company’s Diversity and Inclusion strategy and employee network groups, as well as sitting on a question and answer panel.
“It is our people that drive our business forward, they are the beating heart of our organisation,” she says. “We are constantly challenging the stereotypes associated with the automotive sector, tackling biases head-on and are having incredible results.
“By working in collaboration with the IoD we have a unique opportunity to share our learnings and hopefully, give other employers the tools they need to implement change.”
