Jaguar Land Rover’s annual report was recognised for its reporting of overseas investment at the PricewaterhouseCoopers (pwc) 2018 Building Public Trust Awards.
Winning the inaugural award, Jaguar Land Rover overcame competition from Santander UK, with Chief Finance Officer Ken Gregor in attendance to collect the accolade.
The judging panel, made up of senior executives from an array of sectors, commented on how the overseas investments coverage is clear, open and engaging across a number of key areas including gender pay, modern slavery and tax strategy.
One judge said: “Jaguar Land Rover’s gender pay reporting really stands out. Its commitment to improving the situation in a traditionally male-dominated industry shines through.”
Several other judges commented on the remarkable detail of the environmental reporting, and the caring and concerned approach that flows through the report.
