Jaguar Land Rover has continued its year of celebrations at the Paris Motor Show this week.
Alongside showcasing Jaguar and Land Rover’s present and
future at the French show, it was also a time to celebrate. Land Rover
continued its 70th anniversary festivities, while the XJ recognised its 50th on
the same stage as where Sir William Lyons unveiled the Series 1 in 1968.
Jaguar celebrated the XJ’s 50th anniversary. It was in the
Paris Expo Porte de Versailles where Sir William Lyons unveiled his vision of a
luxury saloon to the public in 1968. On the stand was his personal Series 1 XJ6
alongside the special edition XJ50 and the all-electric I-PACE.
