Jaguar is showcasing the future of car design with a unique demonstration as part of the new Design Frontiers exhibition at Somerset House, London.
Visitors are able to experience cutting-edge design in a replica Jaguar design studio, which showcases the hi-tech creative process behind the electric Jaguar I-PACE Concept, from the initial sketches and clay models to the finished vehicle.
A glimpse of the future is provided by an immersive presentation of the innovative Jaguar FUTURE-TYPE virtual concept. The display introduces Jaguar’s vision for shared urban mobility in 2040 using a 3D installation and light projection technology.
The Jaguar-sponsored Design Frontiers event has exhibits from more than 30 international designers.
Ian Callum, Director of Design, Jaguar, said: “Jaguar’s support of the Design Frontiers exhibition demonstrates our dedication to innovation, which is at the forefront of our own design process. The importance of good design is impossible to underestimate – the ability to create something that is both functional and beautiful should be celebrated.”
The free-to-enter Design Frontiers exhibition will run until 24 September.
