During their recent pit stop tour of Solihull, Jaguar Racing drivers Mitch Evans and Sam Bird presented FA1’s Zone 1CD with the weekly War on Quality award after some amazing team work led to significant quality improvements in FA1.
Over recent weeks, the FA1 Zone 1CD team has taken on the Refocus mantra and, collectively, the team has focused a huge amount on making quality transformations. As one team, Zone 1CD have looked at how they carry out their processes, and what they could do to improve.
Zone 1CD's improvements have all added up to make a significant quality improvement, which is where Mitch and Sam come in. Each week, the War on Quality team at Solihull present the trophy for the best improvement and in the week before shutdown, Mitch and Sam wanted to say a big well done by surprising the team, presenting them with the War on Quality Award.
Zone 1CD Production Leader, Jake Carney Baker commented, ‘It was a huge surprise to see both Mitch and Sam appear in FA1, and an even bigger surprise when they pulled the trophy out. The team here have worked really hard on improving quality and winning the award is testament to us all coming together and making improvements together. A big well done to the team.”
