Land Rover brings the Webb Ellis trophy to South African rugby fans

Land Rover is giving South African rugby fans the rare opportunity to get close and personal to the Webb Ellis Trophy ahead of the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
Forming part of the Trophy Tour, which will see rugby’s
ultimate prize visit 20 countries ahead of the tournament kicking off in Japan,
Land Rover South Africa has organised a number of vehicles to chauffeur the
prize around the country.
Tina Pienaar-Smit, Jaguar Land Rover South Africa and
sub-Sahara Africa’s Sponsorship Manager, said the team understands the passion
the South African people have for rugby and is immensely proud to give them the
opportunity to see the trophy up close, adding:
“We know there are many rugby fans who will never get a
chance to be this close to the trophy, so this opportunity will be an once-in-a-lifetime
Fans of Land Rover-sponsored DHL Stormers and Vodacom Bulls
will get the chance to have photos with the Webb Ellis trophy at a unique event
ahead of their match in Pretoria.
After the week-long tour of South Africa, the trophy will head on the next leg of its journey to the USA before heading to Canada, Brazil and concluding its 18 month global tour in Chile.
