A huge shout out to Lloyd Onuora, from Body in White, who is bravely cutting off his hair this week and donating it to the Little Princess Trust.
The Little Princess Trust is a charity that provides real hair wigs, free of charge, for young cancer sufferers or children and young people experiencing the devastating effects of hair loss.
As well as donating his luscious locks- which have taken over three years to grow- Lloyd has also been fundraising for the charity ahead of ‘making the cut’ and has raised over £1300 on his Just Giving Page- nearly tripling his £500 target.
Talking to Team Talk, Lloyd said: “After a couple of years of growing out my hair, I decided there are people out there who can put it to better use than me- that’s why I’m donating it to the Little Princess Trust.
“Being a parent myself, I couldn’t think of many things worse than having my child lose their confidence because of their appearance, after going through something no child should ever go through. That’s why I love what they do and couldn’t think of a more deserving charity.”
We will be sharing the pictures of Lloyd’s new look in next week’s Team Talk- so stay tuned. If you would like to donate to Lloyds fundraising page, please click here.
Good luck Lloyd- you are a true Halewood Hero!
