He’s only gone and done it, hasn’t he! Lloyd Onuora, from Body in White, who we featured in last week’s Team Talk, has bravely cut off his hair and donated it to the Little Princess Trust, as well as raise a phenomenal £1600 for the charity.
Talking about this new look, Lloyd, who had been growing his hair for three years, said: “I’m getting more used to it now and it’s saving me time in the morning as I would spend ten minutes doing my hair before leaving for work!
As well as donate his hair, Lloyd has also raised over £1500 for the Little Princess Trust charity on his Just Giving page. He added: “Donating hair is one thing but the charity also needs money to fund the incredible research it does into childhood cancer.
“I’ve been blown away by all of the donations I’ve received and thanks to everyone at Halewood who has supported and sponsored me.
“I feel proud that my hair can be used to help make a difference to a child suffering the devastating effects of hair loss and as a dad myself, couldn’t think of a more deserving charity to support.”
About the Little Princess Trust
The Little Princess Trust provides free, real-hair wigs for young cancer sufferers or for children and young people experiencing the devastating effects of hair loss and funds pioneering, life-saving research into childhood cancers.
The charity uses hair donations and fundraising monies to manufacture and fit its beautiful real hair wigs. Established in 2006, it has supplied over 8000 wigs to children and young people and has invested circa £5 million into ground-breaking childhood cancer research.
