As communities around the UK marked Remembrance Sunday to remember the service and sacrifice of so many, the Solihull plant was proud to play our own small part in supporting this year's Remembrance Day Parade in Knowle, organised by the local Round Table group.
With all Royal British Legion social events cancelled this year due to the pandemic, members of the Knowle and Dorridge Round Table group stepped in to organise a last-minute Remembrance Sunday parade in Knowle, near Solihull.
Taking on the challenge, the group organised a hugely successful event and turned to Jaguar Land Rover for support with vehicles to top and tail the parade. Colleagues from Solihull's Land Rover Experience centre were only too happy to help the community pay their respects.
Alpesh Mistry, MP&L Supply Chain Manager and member of the Knowle and Dorridge Round Table, said: "There was an extremely good turn out of people along the high street and it was clear how proud everyone was to support such an important event.
"We were all extremely grateful to Jaguar Land Rover for the last-minute support and the four PHEVs silently leading and following the parade really set the tone."
