Panasonic Jaguar Racing charges the Pope's interest in Formula E
Ahead of the inaugural ABB FIA Formula E race in Rome, all the teams paid the Pope a visit, with the religious leader meeting each of the teams and the drivers at a special event.
Panasonic Jaguar Racing hopes the Pope’s blessing will allow the team to continue its strong start to the season as the team looks gain more points as the races come to mainland Europe.
The team current sits currently fifth in the championship with 88 points from the first seven rounds of the fourth edition of the series, with Nelson Piquet Jr sixth and Mitch Evans seventh in the driver's standings on 45 and 43 points respectively after the Rome E-Prix.
