Last week, Panasonic Jaguar Racing driver Mitch Evans paid a special visit to Solihull to inspire colleagues and students.
Mitch went behind the scenes at the plant to see first-hand how we manufacture the award-winning Jaguar F-PACE and Range Rover Velar in our state of the art manufacturing facility.
While there, he spent time meeting and chatting with colleagues on the line. He even got the opportunity to fit the all-important Jaguar badge to a customer's new car - supervised by an experienced expert associate.
Later in the day, he met more colleagues from the plant during a special signing session where Jaguar Racing gave away merchandise and freebies. After lunch, the New Zealander met students from Harrow school who were visiting the Jaguar Land Rover's Education Centre, and talked with them about life as a racing driver.
Speaking on the day Mitch said: “It was amazing to visit Jaguar Land Rover's Solihull plant and see the hard work that goes in behind the scenes and the technology that goes into developing such amazing vehicles. Thank you to everybody for making me feel so welcome.”
Best of luck in Hong Kong Mitch - we're rooting for you!
