Land Rover is giving customers more choice than ever before, allowing them to personalise their New Defender to fit their lifestyle.
With a choice of 170 individual accessories to choose from, alongside two bodystyles – 90 and 110, six trim levels, and a choice of four accessory packs – the chance of coming across an identical vehicle is remote.
But each choice gives the rugged 4x4 a unique character.

For your inner explorer
The Explorer Pack comes with all the equipment to keep you moving out in the wilderness.
A raised air intake protects the engine by delivering clean air from its elevated position. It also integrates neatly on the side-mounted engine air intake in the front fender to preserve performance in dusty environments.
The exterior side mounted Gear Carrier is a lockable stowage pod with 24 litres of space and capable of holding 17kg. It is perfect for storing dirty equipment without soiling the interior, as it fits to the floating pillars standard on the 110 and optional on the 90.
The accessory pack also equips the Defender with a lightweight 26kg Expedition Roof Rack, front and rear classic mud flaps, wheel arch protection, spare wheel cover, and matte black bonnet decal – featuring cut-out detailing of the 90 or 110.
Customers can upgrade their Explorer-spec Defender with fixed side steps, and a deployable roof ladder. Choosing the Front Expedition Protection System adds a front under-shield and A-frame protection bar, which improves the front approach angle.
For those who seek adventure
The Adventure Pack is designed for those who enjoy the outdoors, and comes with a set of options to make the most of it.
The Portable Rinse System comes with a 6.5-litre water reservoir, hose and shower attachment, which can be used to clean everything from equipment to dogs.
There is also a boot-mounted Integrated Air Compressor, exterior side mounted Gear Carrier and a 20-litre seat backpack, while front and rear classic mud flaps, spare wheel cover, and a bright rear scuff plate give the Defender added protection.
Perfect for living in the country
The Country Pack is aimed at customers who spend time off the beaten track, and equips their Defender for such journeys.
The pack includes rugged wheel arch protection, a bright rear scuff plate, and front and rear classic mud flaps. Inside there is a full-height loadspace partition and portable rinse system.
Designed with the urbanite in mind
The Urban Pack was designed to help customers stand out in the concrete jungle, and comes with a bright rear scuff plate, spare wheel cover, and front under-shield. Inside bright metal pedals add to the look.
Those wanting to upgrade their Defender further have a choice of alloy wheels including 22-inch five-spoke rims.
Customers can also choose to add side tubes, fixed or deployable steps, and from a range of durable, deep-sided rubber mats to any of these four accessory packs.
More accessories to make your Defender perfect
There are so many ways to spec and adapt your New Defender to fit your lifestyle including aqua sports carriers, roof rails, roof racks, and a range of towing systems.
Making their debut alongside the new Defender is a roof-top tent, perfect overnight accommodation that makes use of the vehicle’s maximum static roof load of 300kg. Pair it with the inflatable waterproof awning, expedition roof rack and deployable roof ladder, and you have the perfect home away from home.
Land Rover also offers a remote control electric winch to make sure you remain on the move in the even the most inhospitable parts of the world. Packaged neatly within the front bumper, it can generate a maximum force of 4,536kg, holds 40m of synthetic rope and can be wirelessly operated up to 45m for convenience and safety.
Kitting yourself out to match your Defender
A new Above and Beyond collection has been designed in collaboration with Musto to mark the reinvention of the Defender.
Made up of 24 pieces of outdoor performance apparel, equipment and accessories, they have been designed to be as capable and tough as the famous 4x4. These include a hybrid jacket that transforms into a gilet using Quickburst zip technology to a belt with a tensile strength of 6,000kg.
There is also a set of lifestyle kits matching each of the New Defender’s four accessory packs.
