The future of internal combustion engines (ICE) and their importance to Jaguar Land Rover’s was just one of the topics discussed at the recent bi-annual PTME Town Hall.
The event gave the 200+ team time to get together and hear about the future vision for the team. This included the need for all employees to be taken on a transitional journey to meet the future needs of the automotive industry.
Hosted by director of PTME Peter Domeney, one of the key focusses was on high performing teams and the success of PTME collectively delivering on a number of projects.
Peter spoke about the changing landscape of the automotive sector and reflected on the skills and expertise within the team and it’s evolution to meet the demands of the challenges that lie-ahead.
Guests also heard from Anton Barrick and Matthew Massey about their experience of Innovista.
Richard Lancaster spoke about the importance of innovation in his team and how people are being charged to take control of their own personal development, with the support of the business.
Peter said: “Creativity and innovation is a motivator, we must maintain focus and flexibility, improve commonality and complexity.”
Motivational speaker, mountaineer and company ambassador Kenton Cool also provided an insight into his expeditions and the drive and determination required to succeed.
