Seven Jaguar Land Rover nominees battle it out for The Sunday Times Motor Awards

Show your support to a number of Jaguar Land Rover entries in The Sunday Times Motor Awards 2019.

In the newspaper’s second ever automotive award ceremony, where the Jaguar I-PACE won the inaugural Car of the Year accolade, the business has seven nominations in six categories.

The new Jaguar XE and Range Rover Evoque have both been shortlisted for the Best British-Built Car award, which celebrates the finest vehicles made on these shores. The pair are up against five other rivals including the Bentley Continental GT V8, Mini Electric and LEVC TX electric taxi.

The Evoque is also in the running for Best Family SUV accolade as it competes in a tough category alongside the BMW X7, Mercedes-Benz GLE and Volkswagen Touareg.

In the Best Adventure Car category, the new Defender has been shortlisted for the award ahead of its much anticipated launch, while the Discovery is in the running for Best Dog-Friendly Car award as it aims to complete the double.

Land Rover’s pioneering ClearSight Ground View camera system has been nominated for the Best Innovation Award alongside Tesla’s Sentry Mode and Polestar 2’s Android Auto system.

In the final category – Best Car Manufacturer, Jaguar Land Rover is up against Kia, Porsche, PSA, Toyota and Volvo for the prestigious accolade.
