What is the Centre for Wellbeing?
The Centre for Wellbeing is as a one-stop-shop for wellbeing, bringing together experts in Mind, Body, and Life to deliver group and individual programmes covering the full breadth of our wellbeing strategy. Not simply focusing on cure but also prevention as we aspire for the service to be engaging, fun, and promote a sense of community. We also want to enable our people to be at their best inside and outside of the workplace so they can create a positive impact for our business and themselves.
Programmes will be developed and evolved based on the needs of our employees using customer feedback, utilisation, and outcome data to shape the service.
The Centre for Wellbeing has launched at Solihull with two initial programmes with more, including self-enrolment, coming soon:
Functional Restoration Programme (FRP): Work based progressive exercise programme aimed at improving the physical fitness of an employee; and
Body Read: Improve aspects of wellbeing including weight management, depression/low mood and fatigue.
How will you benefit from the Centre for Wellbeing?
Currently, only two programmes are running; Functional Restoration Programme (FRP) and Body Ready. Both these programmes require an Occupational Health (OH) referral and employees are automatically enrolled in these programmes if they meet the criteria. Our new booking system that will allow for self-enrolment (not needing an OH referral) will go live at the beginning of 2023. The team are busy creating self-enrolment programmes to launch at the beginning of the New Year. Although the number of available programmes will be small to start with, the suite of options for Solihull employees will grow and continually be updated as the centre matures.
