We're pleased to announce that Sue Ford, Senior Manager OTA, has been named Solihull’s new Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador after a competitive recruitment process.
Sue is passionate about making a difference and is committed to making Solihull a truly inclusive place to work through creating a culture of unity, where people are valued and feel able to always be their true self.
As the plant’s Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador, Sue is committed to championing this topic by setting up an Inclusion Council that is designed to listen to what is important to you, to promote our employee networks, share resources and remove roadblocks for initiatives aimed at improving diversity and inclusion at Solihull.
The Inclusion Council will get people from across the plant involved in making Solihull a more inclusive place, where everybody feels able to be the best they can be.
Diversity and Inclusion is an issue that is very close to my heart and I am absolutely delighted to be Solihull’s new ambassador. However, it’s not the job of any one person – it’s all of our responsibility to make Solihull the most inclusive it can be and I’m excited to get to help make that happen
