Good luck to Clare Johnson who is completing a 15,000 ft tandem skydive this Sunday (20 March), to raise money for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.
Clare, a Technical Clerk on B Shift in Trim and Final, is no stranger to fundraising but she has taken her charity endeavours to new heights with this latest challenge.
Asked how she is feeling ahead of the big day, Clare, said: “I’m OK in general with heights but I’m not sure how I feel about jumping out of a plane!
“I am really excited, and it is something I’ve wanted to do for a while but have never felt brave enough. I decided to stop thinking so much and just go for it as it’s for such a good cause.
Asked why she has chosen to support Clatterbridge, Clare added: “Being a Merseyside charity, most of us at Halewood will have known someone who has been supported by their incredible services, so this is my way of saying thank you from all of us here at the plant
