Volunteers bring some much needed joy to the community

Office of General Counsel (OGC) volunteers have been busy spreading the joy amongst the local community with a couple of CSR activities to celebrate Easter.

A team of volunteers led by Dan Holtom, Customer Service Coordinator, delivered five baskets of arts and crafts to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

This activity meant a great deal to Dan, as his son Ellis was born with a critical heart condition and has undergone extensive surgery, all of which was done by the team at the hospital.

Bringing some joy to the children and the staff was the perfect way for Ellis and Dan to give something back.

OGC volunteers followed this up by delivering 70 Easter eggs to the John White Community Centre in Binley, to help spread some festive cheer.

The centre provides a vital service to the local community, which numerous families in the area rely on, including providing a food bank.
