Jaguar Land Rover South Africa has opened the world’s biggest experience centre in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg.
The state-of-the-art facility located in the middle of
14-hectares of land in Lonehill is the ideal place to explore and experience
what our vehicles are capable of.
The new centre has something for everybody, with activities
aimed at a variety of age groups all displaying the best of the vehicles, the
technology and the lifestyle associated with each brand.
There is everything from a children’s off-road area,
miniature race track to full-blown expedition trails, which pays tribute to
South African explorer Kingsley Holgate.
There is also a host of conferencing and event facilities
located on site, alongside the TLC restaurant and a personalisation lounge,
where visitors can design their perfect Jaguar or Land Rover.
Guests at the official opening, which included a selection
of lifestyle media, national retailer principals and VIPs, were treated to a
showcase to remember. A stunt show featuring a collection of Jaguar and Land
Rovers piloted by a team of instructors wowed the crowd, while visitors could
peruse the latest and greatest vehicles from both brands– including the Jaguar
I-PACE and Range Rover PHEV models.
Speaking on the night, Richard Gouverneur, Managing Director
of Jaguar Land Rover South Africa and sub-Sahara Africa, said today’s consumers
demand much more from retailers than previously before and moving with the
times is essential, adding:
“It’s imperative that we as Jaguar Land Rover can offer as
authentic an experience as possible for existing and potential customers and
this facility affords just that.
