On Thursday 24 November, our Product Engineering People Champion forum sparked into life. But what is the People Champion forum we hear you ask? The newly established forum is formed of People Champions from across Product Engineering who are focused on improving our workplace experience.
To support our ongoing Product Engineering Transformation, People Champions will digest your Pulse results and work with you in your local areas to make improvements and will do everything they can to continue making Product Engineering an amazing place to work.
Lucy Davies, Human Resources Business Partner and People Champion network co-lead commented, “It was great to run the first People Champion forum and meet our new People Champions in person.
“In Product Engineering we want your workplace experience to be as exceptional as possible and the forum will help us do that. Your recent Pulse results have shown we’ve made progress, but this forum will help us step up to the next level, doing more of what we do best already, and most importantly, improving where you want us to. Thank you to all of our People Champions.”
The People Champion Forum was also surprised by a special guest during their opening event. On a tour of our Gaydon facility and workshops, 2021 World Boxing Champion, Anthony Joshua, popped in to say hello to the new forum and share his insights on what he thinks makes truly inclusive culture. Members from the Product Engineering First-Line also came together at the end of the session for a question-and-answer session.
