This year is flying by! We are already nearing the end of May and quickly approaching Whitsun shutdown week. Over the last five months, 75 circles across Solihull have been working through the ten steps of TIC and are now beginning to deliver their ideas to their coaches and managers in their local functional reviews taking place throughout June.
The circles who are successful at the local review will progress onto the Solihull TIC Convention, which promises to be a fabulous day, on Saturday 16 July
One team hoping to make it through to the next stage is 'TIC-ket to Success' a team made up of Paint associates Victoria, Josh, Mick and Ricardo. The trio are working to improve our contract roof masking processes - with support from their circle coach Steve. They are currently at step 7 finalising their action plan and trialling their improvement ideas.
"We're really enjoying the process so far and looking forward - although a little nervously - to presenting at the functional review next month" - commented Victoria.
Our Solihull TIC Vice Chair, John Sutherland added "As proud creators of modern luxury it's great to reflect on how TIC shares many common foundations with our Creators Code. Teams come together and demonstrate the amazing unity we have. Each and every project will have an impact once seen through to completion. Each team member will experience growth not only in their knowledge, but in their understanding, confidence and capability.
Every project works to expose our weaknesses with great integrity and humility which enables us to deliver real and sustainable improvements. Improving the working lives of the teams and the things that matter to them ensures we can better deliver customer love, allowing us all to truly live the exceptional with soul!"
